At Impressity, we highly respect our users' privacy as well as survey respondents' privacy.

To protect your privacy, please read the following information:

  1. Account Information: - When you register an Impressity user account, we will ask for some personal information, including your email address and a password, which is used to protect your account from unauthorized access. Impressity secures the personal information you provide to the service on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected from unauthorized access, use or disclosure. It is your responsibility to keep your password confidential. Do not share this information with anyone.

  2. User Information - Similar with most Web sites, we gather certain information automatically. This information includes IP addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. We use this information, which does not identify individual users, to analyze trends, to administer the site, to track users’ movements around the site as a whole. We reserve the right to perform statistical analyses of user behavior and characteristics. We do this in order to measure interest in and use of the various areas of the website.

  3. Survey Contents: - Any personal information or other content that you voluntarily disclose online (in survey contents, etc.) becomes publicly available and can be collected and used by others.
    Note that as Impressity combines survey data into aggregated reports that can be searched by the public, your are responsible for protecting private data in the survey. Do not include your own personal identifiable information in the survey. Neither should you solicit survey respondents' personal identifiable information in the survey. For survey questions containing or requesting private or confidential information, set the survey question to private so that the results will not be aggregated. (See details).
    Impressity tries to detect survey questions soliciting personal identifiable information and set such questions to private. However like any other technical solutions we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy in detection. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your and survey respondents' personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You are fully responsible for all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from soliciting or disclosing personal information in the surveys or aggregated reports.

  4. Geographical locations: - Impressity's Geographical Research tool shows the aggregated reports Geographically on a world map. The Geographical locations (latitude, longitude) are looked up by survey respondents' IP addresses. To protect the survey respondents' privacy, we truncate the latitude and longitude to 1 digit after decimal.

  5. Email Information: - We do not use your email address or other personally identifiable information to send commercial or marketing messages without your consent or except as part of a specific program or feature for which you will have the ability to opt-in or opt-out. We may, however, use your email address without further consent for non-marketing or administrative purposes (such as notifying you of site changes or for customer service purposes).

  6. Cookies: - We use cookies to: (a) store information so that you will not have to re-enter it during your visit; (b) provide custom, personalized content and information; (c) monitor the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.

  7. Link to Other Sites: This Web site contains links to other sites that are not owned or controlled by Impressity.com. Please be aware that Impressity.com is not responsible for the privacy policies of other sites. We encourage you to read the privacy statements of every Web site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies only to information collected by this Web site.

  8. Change of Personally Identifiable Information:If your personally identifiable information changes, you may update it on our "My Account" page or by emailing our Customer Support at support@impressity.com. We will respond to any request within 10 days.
