Embed a Survey

One of the top asks by survey designers is: "Can I embed the survey in my web site easily?"

Impressity lets you embed the survey directly in your web page. So that users do not need to leave your web page to fill the survey. Just copy and paste the embed link into your web page.

Adjust the look:

The default settings usually won't look perfectly without adjustment. You can adjust embedded link to resize the embedded survey to achieve the best look:

<iframe src="http://www.impressity.com/Survey/sl.aspx?SurveyLinkId=abcdefhijklmnopqrstu&SurveyWidth=360" width="360px" height="1000px" style="border: 0px; border-style: none; border-width: 0px"><embed type="text/html" src="http://www.impressity.com/Survey/sl.aspx?SurveyLinkId=abcdefhijklmnopqrstu&SurveyWidth=360" width="360px" height="1000px" style="border: 0px; border-style: none; border-width: 0px" /></iframe>

When the survey height exceeds the default height in the survey embed link above, just increase the "height" in link above. Or you can increase the "SurveyWidth" and "width" so that there are fewer lines in the survey and therefore the survey height will be reduced.

Note that resizing of the survey does not automatically resize the text size in the survey. To achieve that, you need to go to the "Edit Theme" page and save the new text size to the theme.

To save the embedded space, you can also edit the survey theme to change the settings of whether to show survey title, page title, etc.

Customize the completion page:

By default, once the survey respondents submit the survey, he or she will be automatically redirected to the default completion page. If you don't want to show the default completion page, just edit the survey link and change the completion page to your desired URL. edit completion page

Note that if you want the survey respondents to view the survey result after taking the survey: First go to your survey in the Impressity site and click "Survey Responses"; then find the question you want, and click "Details"; find and copy that question's shared link to the completion page like example above.

Similar to the embed survey width and height, you can adjust the survey result chart's ChartWidth and ChartHeight, so that it would fit in the web page perfectly.
